Lessons I’ve Learned

My career has given me the opportunity to work with some extremely smart people. These men and women have taught me numerous lessons over the years. Some of those things have stuck with me and I have tried to pass as many of them along to as many people as I can. Some of them are little phrases that carry with them big messages that help me through some important decisions.

Kentucky Derby

For more than 20 years, I have been holding Kentucky Derby parties at my house. In the beginning, it was just a couple of friends would cover to my house in Jersey and we would barbeque before going over to Atlantic City Racecourse. The food was simple the mint juleps were refreshing and a good time was had by all. After moving to Vegas, it went from a party for a few friends to the traditional kick off to the summer for my Tropicana co-workers and I. Every year it gets bigger and bigger. My wife invites people from her work and her fiends and I do the same. My neighbors come over and it is one big party.
